Phire

No equipment is safe in the event of disasters like floods, hurricanes, fires, which can affect power and communications of entire communities. Phire was developed to delay the impact of forest fires on Telecommunications infrastructures.

Phire - Features

Use of high-density sandwich panel as a fire containment measure in the access and protection doors of the telecommunications containers;

Stainless steel piping with high density rock wool along the tower for protection of voice communications and priority transmission links; 

CO2 units to implement inside LCS cabinets, developed by Proef, to alternate leading wires inside the cabinet and drop the temperature inside it;

Definition of rules of procedure in the event of a disaster scenario, giving priority to the operation of equipment on the priority bus, disconnecting all superfluous equipment, thus ensuring longer station operation in an emergency scenario.
